On the side of a road, after a heavy rain, a tiny kitten lay completely still, soaked to the bone and struggling to breathe. The cold had taken its toll, and the little creature was barely conscious, trapped in exhaustion and fear.
But something in the kitten’s stillness caught the attention of a compassionate rescuer.
The First Signs of Hope
When the kitten was brought inside, the rescuer wasted no time. Using a hairdryer to warm the kitten, they discovered that the fur wasn’t just wet from the rain. It was sticky—covered in rat trap glue, an extra layer of pain that had made the kitten’s suffering even worse.

By the fourth day, the transformation was clear.
The kitten was stronger, more playful, and began exploring its surroundings. The once-frightened animal was now climbing and jumping, eager to engage with the world again. A new bed was made for it, a warm and safe space to sleep peacefully.
Soon, the kitten was introduced to the other pets in the house, learning to trust them as well, accepting their presence and starting to enjoy the companionship.
