X-rays revealed the extent of the damage—both of Dabai’s front legs were broken badly, like “dry twigs” splintered from trauma. The veterinary team acted quickly, performing complex surgery to fix the bones with metal plates.

After the surgery, Dabai started the slow process of rehabilitation. He began to try standing and walking on his bandaged legs. With proper nutrition and consistent care, Dabai gained weight, built strength, and started to explore the hospital surroundings.

By Day 20, Dabai was strong enough to be discharged from the hospital and was welcomed into his new home.

Adapting to His New Home and Finding Happiness (Day 20 – Day 77)

At first, Dabai had some challenges adjusting to his new feline companion. But soon, he settled in and began to thrive. His fur grew back thicker and shinier. His legs, once fragile, allowed him to walk, run, and play like any healthy cat.

Dabai’s bond with his new family grew stronger, and he became a devoted companion, especially to the young girl in the household, who loved having him by her side as she studied.

After 77 days, Dabai was fully healed and healthy. His journey wasn’t just about physical recovery—it was about love, compassion, and the strength to overcome adversity.
