By trapping feral cats, neutering them, and returning them to their original environments, the team was working to prevent the endless cycle of overpopulation and suffering. This approach not only helped individual cats but also worked toward reducing the overall number of stray cats in the community.
In addition to TNR, Flatbush Cats focused on providing accessible, affordable spaying and neutering services to the community. By making these services easier to access, they could prevent the birth of more unwanted kittens and address the root cause of the feral cat crisis.
