Semyon had a severe ear infection filled with pus, along with ear mites that had caused extreme irritation. Inside his ears, doctors also discovered small growths known as ceruminomas, which required surgical treatment.
But that wasn’t all.
He was also battling a fungal infection on his skin, dental issues, and needed to be neutered to improve his long-term health.
For a cat who had already endured abandonment, it was a long list of challenges.
Slowly Learning to Feel Safe
Thankfully, once treatment began, Semyon’s transformation slowly started.
After surgery and careful medical care, his pain began to ease. The infections cleared, and his body started regaining strength.
But the most touching change wasn’t physical.
