A small kitten was found lying by the roadside, lifeless and weak, barely holding on. The situation was dire. When he was rushed to the veterinary clinic, the diagnosis was grim. He had feline panleukopenia, a dangerous disease that often takes the lives of young cats. The kitten was severely dehydrated, and the vet had to insert an intravenous line to rehydrate him.
A Rocky Start (Days 2 – 3)
In the first few days, the kitten showed signs of awareness but was still very frightened and aggressive. He was so scared that he tried to escape from his cage, even attempting to pull out his IV line. His fear made it difficult for the caretakers to approach him, but they kept trying, offering him comfort and care at his own pace.

Full Recovery and New Beginnings (Day 35)
By day 35, the kitten had completely recovered from panleukopenia. He was active, playful, and starting to interact with the other cats in the house. His energy was contagious, and it was clear that the worst was behind him. The fear and fragility that had once defined him were replaced by curiosity and vitality.
A New Chapter (Day 90)
After three months, the kitten, now named Malu Yazi, had doubled his weight—from 1.6kg to 3.2kg. He was healthy, mischievous, and full of life. His playful antics and newfound energy made him an endearing addition to the family. Malu Yazi had found his place in the world, and it was one filled with love and care.
A Final Step Toward a New Life (Days 92 – 95)
On days 92 to 95, Malu Yazi underwent neutering surgery. Though the procedure was minor, it marked a significant milestone in his journey to becoming a fully integrated member of the family. After a few days of rest, he recovered completely, and his bond with his human family and the other cats grew stronger. He had truly found his forever home.
