Ace’s Two-Day Rescue – From Being Glued to the Floor to Freedom

A small black kitten, curious and unaware of danger, wandered into a garage one day. Inside, a container of construction adhesive had been damaged and was slowly leaking onto the floor.

The kitten stepped into the sticky puddle — and within moments, disaster struck.

The glue clung tightly to its tiny body. Its paws, tail, and even its belly became completely stuck to the hardened surface. The more the kitten struggled, the worse it became. Soon, it could no longer move at all.

Helpless and immobilized, the little cat lay trapped, unable to escape.

A Quick Call for Help

Thankfully, the garage owner discovered the kitten before it was too late. Seeing the heartbreaking sight of the tiny body glued to the floor, they immediately contacted an animal rescue team.

It was nearly the end of the rescue team’s working hours, but when they heard how severe the situation was, they didn’t hesitate. This was an emergency. The kitten could not survive long in that state.

They rushed to the scene.

An Extremely Complicated Rescue

When the rescuers arrived, they realized the situation was worse than expected. The adhesive had hardened around the kitten’s fur and skin, bonding it firmly to the garage floor. Any attempt to pull the kitten free could cause serious injury.

There was only one safe option: cut out a portion of the garage floor along with the kitten still attached.

Carefully and cautiously, they removed a section of flooring and transported both the kitten and the attached slab to a veterinary clinic.

At the clinic, veterinarians began an exhausting and delicate process. Using surgical tools, they carefully trimmed and shaved away the glue-covered fur. The work was slow and painstaking. It took two full days to safely remove all the adhesive without harming the kitten’s skin.

Throughout the long and painful process, the kitten showed remarkable patience. Despite discomfort and exhaustion, it remained surprisingly calm, almost as if it understood that the people around it were trying to help.

Its quiet strength moved everyone involved.

A New Name, A New Life

Once finally freed and cleaned, the kitten began to recover quickly. Without the heavy glue restricting its movements, it could walk again. It began eating, resting, and regaining energy.

The woman who had first discovered the kitten couldn’t forget him. Touched by his resilience, she made the decision to adopt him.

She named him Ace — a symbol of survival, strength, and a second chance.

Today, Ace lives in a warm, loving home. No longer trapped or frightened, he plays freely, stretches comfortably, and enjoys the simple joys of safety and affection.

From being glued helplessly to a garage floor… to living a life filled with love and comfort — Ace’s story is a powerful reminder that even in the most desperate situations, compassion and determination can bring about extraordinary endings.
