They transported Lesya all the way to Moscow, where she could receive advanced medical care and a better chance at survival.

There, veterinarians began intensive treatment.

Day by day, with medication, nourishment, and constant attention, the infections slowly began to fade.

The fragile cat who once seemed too weak to continue started showing signs of life again.

An Unexpected Discovery

Just as Lesya began recovering from her infections, another challenge emerged.

Veterinarians discovered that she had a congenital condition called Osteochondrodysplasia, a disorder that affects bone and joint development.

The condition caused abnormalities in her skeleton, leading to stiffness in her spine, pain in her limbs, and difficulty moving.

It was something she would have to live with for the rest of her life.

Living With Care — and Love

Despite her limitations, Lesya’s life today is filled with warmth.

She now lives in a foster home where she receives daily care, medication, and gentle support. Though she cannot run or jump like other cats, she has found her own way of enjoying life.

Soft bedding, favorite toys, and regular meals have become part of her daily routine.

And most importantly, she is surrounded by kindness.
